According to latest tumors, Microsoft is panning to bring back the start button which the ditched in the Windows 8. The verge reported about the come back of start button earlier today, which they said is one of the many features which Windows 8.1 will bring. The start button will look like the existing Windows flag used in the Charm bar, will the same design will be used, we don’t know yet.
Another thing which Windows 8.1 brings is the boot to traditional desktop which too is missing in the Windows 8 build. This news was reported by ZDNet a few days ago.
The people who provided the feedback must have affected the Microsoft decision Windows 8.1 Start button come back. Around 1.5 million people had downloaded one of the famous start menu replacement tool for windows 8 which showed how many people actually hated the ditching. But we cannot say for sure that Microsoft will keep the start menu button for sure as they will be taking feedbacks from the users once they release the public preview version. Anyway The rumor says Microsoft will place the start menu button in the public preview version for sure.
