How to Put Disney cartoon DVD movies to Fuhu DreamTab for Kids

Description: This article just want to help parents out how to convert Disney cartoon DVD to Fuhu DreamTab playable video so that your kids can enjoy the DVD movies on the go.

Collaborating with Intel and DreamWorks, Fuhu is prepping 8- and 12-inch Android 4.4 “DreamTab” tablets for kids. "Given the tablet’s strong performance and a screen with higher quality and resolution than typical kiddie tablets, the DreamTab should give Amazon’s “Kindle Fire HDX a serious run for its money,” wrote Spoonauer.

With a full-featured large and brilliant display, DreamTab is a movie theater especially designed for kids. If you've got lost of Disney cartoon DVD discs for your kids and want to transfer these DVD movies to Fuhu DreamTab so that your kids can enjoy the movies on-the-go, you'll find a solution here. In this article, we'll show you how to easily convert DVD to DreamTab playable videos for your children.

As we know, DreamTab is an Android tablet. Like other Android tablets, it doesn't have a DVD drive to play DVD movies. To make DVD playable on DreamTab, you need to rip DVD to DreamTab compatible video formats with a DVD ripping tool.

There is a large variety of different tools can do this. But for this guide I am using Pavtube DVD Ripper, one of the most popular conversion application for phones and tablets due to its ease of use, the support provided when needed, and of course the very affordable price.

Download the free trial version and go on! Now, I will show you how to play DVD movies on Fuhu DreamTab.

Step 1: After you insert the DVD, install and run Pavtube DVD Ripper, launch it and load DVD movies with "Load file" icon. It also supports IFO image files. Below is the screenshot of the main interface after I load DVD movie.

Step 3: Then you need to choose the output format. Although Pavtube does not have the specific profile for DreamTab as iPad, you could choose "H.264 Video (*.mp4)" format under "Common Video".

Step 4: Customize the profile settings. You can adjust the video bitrate, frame rate, audio channels, etc. According to my experience, this step can be shipped because the original setting is enough.

If your children begins to learn words, you could add some subtitles for the output videos so that they can review the words when enjoying the movies.

Step 5: Click the "Convert" button to start the conversion. Just waiting for a while and then you will get the output videos.

Step 6: Connect the DreamTab to the computer with the USB cable, and then turn it on. Double click on your computer icon and then double-click on the drive letter for your DreamTab. Double click on the "LLN" directly, then "MOVE". Copy your video into the directory.

Note: Do not use the LLN program! Just copy it directly to the SD card.

Unplug the USB cable and start your video program and the movies should be there ready to play. Hope this can help you as well.
