How to Streaming H.265 to Samsung via Plex without Video Buffering Issue?

HEVC x265 buffering when playing on Samsung TV via Plex

I currently have a Plex Media Server on a local network. The network is cabled and using gigabit connections. I am currently having issues when playing HEVC/x254 videos whereby after every few minutes (normally every 3-5), the video stops and the buffering dots appears for a few seconds. This issue only occurs on my Samsung UE55HU7500 and UE55HU6900. If I use a PC, iPhone or iPad either locally or remotely it plays fine. It does not matter how I try and play the videos; both direct play and transcoding have the same results.

How to fix H.265 video buffering on Plex?

After searching on the Internet, we find this article: How to Fix Constant Video Buffering Issue on Plex. And we get the information that the vast majority of buffering issues when streaming content in a Plex app are caused due to the following two main reasons:
1. The network connection can't support the requested stream.
2. The content can't be transcoded fast enough for the stream.

Since the user who posted the problem said that “The network is cabled and using gigabit connections”, we can see that there is nothing issue with the former reasons. As for the second reasons, it is well know that the transcoding process of H.265 is very computer processor intensive, if your computer is very old, it may be not powerful enough to perform the transcoding that you need. Besides that, the problem may also caused by device limitation. For example, the Plex app for your Samsung TV can experience memory-related constraints.
