What is XDCAM EX?
XDCAM EX is a variation of XDCAM HD that records full HD resolution as either 1920 x 1080 or 1280 * 720 footage. XDCAM EX footage is recorded on SxS cards, based on the PCMCIA ExpressCard/34 form factor.
XDCAM EX supports the following formats and frame rates:

·1080i50, 1080p25
·1080p24
XDCAM EX also supports the 720p format at 23.98, 25, 29.97, 50, and 59.94 fps.
